Bill Haller, MD


Dr. Bill Haller has been sharing his expertise and compassion with patients at Gadsden Orthopedics since 2002. He treats a wide range of orthopedic conditions. His special interests include knee arthroplasty, anterior hip arthroplasty, sports medicine, fracture treatment and endoscopic carpal tunnel release.

Dr. Haller attended the University Of Alabama School of Medicine and completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons with a sports medicine subspecialty.

Dr. Haller is on the staff of Gadsden Regional Medical Center, Gadsden Surgery Center, Riverview Regional Medical Center and DeKalb Regional Medical Center. He currently serves as Chief of Orthopedics and is a member of the Physician Leadership Group at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Alabama Medical Association and Etowah County Medical Association. Dr. Haller serves on the board of the Gadsden Cultural Arts Foundation and is a past board member of the United Way of Etowah County.

Among his positions prior to his time with Gadsden Orthopedics, Dr. Haller worked with Medjet International and Carraway Methodist Medical Center Lifesaver as a flight physician.

Dr. Haller and his wife, Helene, have two daughters. He enjoys running, tennis, boating, weight training and family.
